New Junk Fingers Album “Audrey’s Fever (and Other Stories)”

We normally don’t do updates for other bands but when the band has such a strong Hepcat Dilemma connection, we would be negligent in not bringing you the news! Not only has Junk Fingers and Hepcat Dilemma shared multiple band members, if it wasn’t for Junk Fingers the current version of Hepcat Dilemma might not even exist!

Junk Fingers was formed in 2009, when former Hepcat Dilemma drummer Byron Glatz famously “put a band together in ten minutes” recruiting Fuzzy Comets singer Melissa Ippolito, bassist Chris Colpo (Salena Catalina) and his former Hepcat cohort guitarist/songwriter Bob Loiselle. The band released their debut album “You Can’t Drink All Day Unless You Start in the Morning” the following year.

Chris left the band in 2014 to concentrate his efforts on the reformed Hepcat Dilemma and for a while it appeared that Junk Fingers would just fade away but a new album was percolating behind the scenes. And that album, “Audrey’s Fever (and Other Stories)” is about to see the light of day.

Pittsburgh Supergroup Junk Fingers (Fuzzy Comets/Special Ed/ATS/Hepcat Dilemma) returns with “Audrey’s Fever (and Other Stories)” on Rat-on-a-Stick Records. Featuring “Audrey’s Fever”, a mini-rock opera about someone who always dreamed of being able to fly. One dark evening she meets Andy Warhol who tells her how to make her dream come true. All that, and five other stories too!

– Oscar Flood, Rat-on-a-Stick Records

With ATS main man Evan Knauer taking over the bass role, Junk Fingers comes back better than ever. “Audrey’s Fever (and Other Stories)” was recorded over the past couple of years at Hollywood Studios in Dormont with long time producer Matt Vaughan and will be available on vinyl from Rat-on-a-Stick Records.

We’ll have the details on how to get your own copy of the new Junk Fingers album soon!
